Property tax can be levied till September 30 with 10% rebate-Adarsh ​​Kumar

KAOURTHALA:  Adarsh Kumar Sharma, Executive Officer, Municipal Corporation, Kapurthala said that as per the instructions issued by the Punjab Government, those who have not yet been able to submit their due property tax of 2020-21 to the Municipal Corporation due to any reason, should pay the due tax by September 30, 2020.  You can avail the 10% rebate given by the government by depositing immediately.

 Giving more details about the property tax, the Superintendent of the Tax Branch of the Municipal Corporation Amit Kalia said that all the people who have arrears of old property tax or house tax should also submit all their arrears by October 31, 2020 in one lump sum.  All can get relief from interest, which can be of great benefit to the arrears. Therefore, he appealed to the residents of the city to pay their due taxes and arrears within the stipulated time  and get  a discount.
