Rape survivor's parents held for killing accused
KOLKATA: A rape survivor's parents have been arrested for allegedly beating the accused to death in West Bengal's Malda district, police said on Tuesday.
KOLKATA: A rape survivor's parents have been arrested for allegedly beating the accused to death in West Bengal's Malda district, police said on Tuesday.
"Bipul Pramanik, 50, the rape accused, was out on bail. The rape survivor's family members were enraged, got involved in an argument with the accused, and attacked him with a rod. He later died at a nearby hospital, " an officer of Malda police station said.
The officer said that victim's mother and father have been arrested.
