LUDHIANA: Graduates of the College of Dairy and Food Science Technology (CDFST), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, have demonstrated academic excellence and professional competence by securing appointments as Dairy Inspectors in the Department of Dairy Development, Punjab.
Through the competitive examination conducted by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB), six Dairy Technology graduates received appointment letters from S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab during a state-level appointment ceremony at Chandigarh in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries. It is pertinent to mention that 15 graduates from the College have also been appointed by the department in the recent past.
Congratulating the appointees, the Chief Minister emphasized that these merit-based selections reflect the transparency and credibility of the recruitment process and expressed confidence that the newly appointed professionals would contribute significantly to strengthening the dairy sector, ensuring quality assurance, and safeguarding consumer interests.
