Vajra corps artillery Brigade arranged under theme ‘Kadam Badayen Pragati Ki Aur’
JALANDHAR:A Capacity Building Tour for students and teachers from areas of Rajouri District was conducted at Jalandhar by Vajra Corps Artillery Brigade from 18 Dec to 19 Dec 2019 under the theme “Kadam Badayen Pragati ki Aur’. During the conduct of the tour, students and teachers were given an opportunity to visit Jang-e-Azadi Museum, Science City, Lovely Professional University and Vajra Museum showcasing the saga of SIKH valor as well as glorious battles & victories of Vajra Corps. They also visited Headquarters Vajra Corps today and interacted with Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sanjeev Sharma.

During the interaction, the teachers and students conveyed their gratitude for the efforts made by the Indian Army to conduct the tour. The Corps Commander complimented all the students for their enthusiasm and love for the Nation. He also exhorted them to be ambassadors for peace & harmony and contribute positively towards nation-building.
The tour was organized to widen the horizon of the students and teachers from J&K provide them an opportunity to interact with people outside their state and imbibe ideas for contributing towards the development of the state and personal growth. The tour besides providing a platform for motivation and self-reliance also provided an exposure to the cultural heritage of the nation. This is part of an endeavor by Indian Army to promote self-development amongst the youth of J&K and assist them in becoming responsible citizens of the country.
