Three drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act
NAKODAR:The Nakodar city and Shahkot police have arrested three drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets and poppy husk.

Nakodar city station house officer (SHO) Jatindar Kumar Singh said that 300 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Krishan a resident of Rupewali village in Shahkot .
SHO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his motor cycle.
Shahkot investigating officer Bhupindar Singh said 300 intoxicant tablets were recovered from drug peddler Raj Kumar alias Raju a resident of Rame village
The police also arrested drug peddler Lakhvir Singh a resident of Kohar Kalan village with 500 grams poppy husk said investigating officer Sanjivan Singh.(EOM)
