Punjab Government Restores Regular Office Timings from July 1
CHANDIGARH: A spokesperson of the Punjab Government informed today that office timings for all state government departments, boards, corporations and institutions situated across Punjab and Chandigarh have been restored to the regular schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule will take effect from July 1, 2026.
The spokesperson added that office timings were temporarily changed to 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM from May 25, 2026, due to the summer season. This temporary schedule will remain in place until June 30, 2026, after which the regular routine will resume.
