CHANDIGARH: -The Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE), Government of Haryana signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Regional Centre forEntrepreneurship Development (RCED), to promote entrepreneurship, skill development and employability among youth of Polytechnic colleges across the state.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Rajesh Goyal, Secretary, HSBTE, and Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director, RCED. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. B. S. Sangwan, Deputy Secretary, HSBTE and Mr. Vijay Arora, General Manager, RCED.
Under the collaboration, HSBTE and RCED will jointly organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs (EAPs), Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs), Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Skill Training Programs, Industry Internships and Handholding Support for students, faculty members and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The initiative aims to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities and improve employment opportunities for youth. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajesh Goyal emphasized the importance of such partnerships in strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and preparing students for future career opportunities. Mr. Paramjit Singh stated that the collaboration would help bridge the gap between education and industry requirements while creating better opportunities for youth through entrepreneurship, skill development, and industry engagement initiatives.
