Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO flags off bus of pilgrims from village Makhanwindi under Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme

JANDIALA: Punjab PWD Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO today flagged off a bus carrying pilgrims from village Makhanwindi in Jandiala Guru constituency under the “Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme.”

Interacting with villagers on the occasion, Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that this is not merely a journey, but a sacred initiative associated with the faith, devotion, and spiritual peace of our elders. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has launched this scheme to provide senior citizens with a golden opportunity to visit various religious pilgrimage sites.

He further added that such initiatives strengthen our social and religious values and reinforce the cultural tradition of respecting and caring for our elders. He also prayed that the journey proves to be comfortable, safe, and spiritually fulfilling for all the pilgrims.

On this occasion, villagers and administrative officials extended their best wishes to the pilgrims, and proper arrangements were ensured for the smooth conduct of the यात्रा.
