Phagwara police busts gang of criminals
PHAGWARA: In a major success Phagwara Police succeeded to bust an Inter-District Gang of Vehicle thieves and arrested Five criminals and recovered six stolen motorcycles and two mobiles from their possession.

Deputy Superintendent of the Police Paramjit Singh while confirming it told this correspondent here that the arrested thieves identified as Kirandeep and Yudhbir residents of Village Langari,Sahil Thapar resident of Hadiabad,Ranjodh Singh resident of Amritsar and Vikramjit resident of Fatehgarh Churian were nabbed by a police party headed by SHO City Navdeep Singh at a check point at Phagwara—Banga Road here today. The arrested accused have confessed their involvements in different snatching and stealing incidents in District Kapurthala and Ludhiana.
