SGPC President Advocate Dhami took strong notice of the beating of a Sikh in Kaithal

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has taken strong notice of the hateful beating of a Sikh at Kaithal in Haryana and has asked the police administration to immediately arrest the culprits and take legal action against them.

Advocate Dhami said that this incident has hurt the sentiments of the entire Sikh world, so the Haryana government should take it seriously and ensure the safety of the Sikhs living in the state.

He said that it has been seen for some time now that an atmosphere of hatred is being continuously created against Sikhs in the country of India and Sikhs are being targeted for no reason in different states. It is the responsibility of the governments to protect the religious freedom and rights of the people of every class, every religion and every community in the country. Strict action must be taken against those who go against the constitution of the country and create hateful and communal atmosphere.

Advocate Dhami said that the resident of Kaithal. Sukhwinder Singh being stopped by two unidentified persons near the city and beaten up with hate speech is a manifestation of the growing hate violence in the country, to which the Haryana government as well as the central government has the responsibility to take this phenomenon seriously because Such actions are not in national interest.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Shiromani Committee. Pratap Singh said that in the case of the beating of a Sikh in Kaithal, as per the instructions of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, an e-mail has been sent to the police captain of Kaithal asking for appropriate action against the accused.
