Four women among six drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act
PHILLAUR : The Nakodar sadar police have arrested five drug peddlers including three women on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

The Station House Officer Nakodar Palwindar Singh said that 900 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Lakhvir alias Lakhu a resident of Thabalke village and his mother Balvir alias Biro and Ranno wife of Deep a resident of the same village, Raj Kumar alias Raja son of Major Singh a resident of the same village and Palo wife of Karnail a resident of Thabalke village.
SHO said that cases under NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
Meanwhile The Bilga police arrested a woman drug peddler Anita Ranni a resident of Ganna Pind village under Phillaur police station with 59 intoxicant tablets said investigating officer Satpal.
