PU-CET (PG) 2026 Registration Closes Today, Entrance Test Schedule Released

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has announced that 9 June 2026 is the last date for submission of online applications, fee payment, and uploading of documents for the PU-CET (PG) 2026 entrance examination.
Candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate programmes offered by PU are advised to complete all application formalities before the deadline.
The PU-CET (PG) Prospectus and Application Form are available on the portal.
According to the schedule, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories and PU employees claiming concession in entrance test fee may submit the required documents to the CET Cell by 10 June 2026.
Admit cards will be available online from 14 June 2026, while candidates who have paid the requisite fee but could not complete their forms may do so by 15 June 2026 by depositing a late fee of Rs. 500/-. The final date by which Admit Card/Roll Number will be issued manually by CET Cell to candidates who have completed their form (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) by paying a late fee of Rs. 500/- is 16 June 2026.
PU has also released the date sheet for PU-CET (P.G.) 2026, with entrance tests scheduled on 19, 20, and 21 June 2026 at centres located in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, and Muktsar.
The entrance tests on 19 June 2026 will be conducted for M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication, M.Tech. (Instrumentation), M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine, M.A. English, M.Com. (Master of Entrepreneurship and Family Business), M.Sc. Instrumentation, M.Sc. Microbiology, LL.M., M.A. Geography, M.Com. (Hons.), M.Sc. Environment Science, Masters in Public Health, M.Com. (Business Economics), M.Sc. Biophysics, and M.Sc. Renewable Energy and Smart Materials.
On 20 June 2026, entrance tests will be held for Masters in Disaster Management, M.Com. (Business Innovation), M.Sc. Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering, MCA, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Physics (Specialization in Electronics), M.Sc. Medical Physics, M.Sc. Botany, Masters in History, M.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Human Genomics, M.A. in Social Work, MBA for Executive (MBAfEX), M.Sc. Statistics, and M.Sc. Forensic Science.
The entrance tests scheduled for 21 June 2026 include M.A. in Geoinformatics, M.Sc. Computer Science (Specialisation in Data Science), M.Sc. Zoology, M.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Microbial Biotechnology, M.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., and M.Sc. System Biology and Bioinformatics/M.Sc. Bioinformatics.
PU has advised candidates to ensure that all application details are correctly submitted within the prescribed timeline.
