CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate law programmes for the academic session 2026–27.
The B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Courses are offered at the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh, UILS, Hoshiarpur, and University Institute of Laws (UIL), Ludhiana.
PU has declared the results of the PU B.A./B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) 5-Year Integrated Course Entrance Test 2026. Candidates can access their results at https://results.puexam.in/ShowCurrentEntranceResult.aspx.
Admissions will be made on the basis of 50 per cent weightage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and 50 per cent weightage of the PU-CET (UG) Entrance Test score.
Candidates who have qualified the entrance test and secured at least 50 per cent marks in the 10+2 examination (45 per cent for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates) are eligible to apply. The online admission form is available at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in and may be submitted up to 14 June 2026.
The hard copy of the admission form along with relevant documents must reach the office of the Director, UILS, PU, Chandigarh, by 4:00 p.m. on 17 June 2026.
Applicants have been advised to carefully read the admission instructions before filling the online form and to ensure that all information, marks, category details, and uploaded documents are correct before locking each section, as no changes will be permitted thereafter.
Candidates applying under the Sports Category are required to submit a copy of the admission form along with relevant certificates to the Directorate of Sports, PU, by 4:00 p.m. on 17 June 2026. Applicants seeking reservation benefits must submit certificates in the prescribed format available in the Admission Prospectus 2026.
The tentative merit list will be displayed on 1 July 2026; objections regarding the tentative merit list will be accepted from 2 to 3 July 2026 through email only; and a provisional merit list will be displayed on 7 July 2026.
Counselling for the General Category will be held on 13 July 2026, while counselling for Reserved Categories is scheduled for 14 July 2026.
