CHANDIGARH: Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi who won the Lok Sabha 2019 elections on the 'Chowkidar' slogan is no more a 'Chowkidar' as he and other BJP leaders have removed the prefix of Chowkidar' from their Twitter handels.

Modi had adopted 'Chokidar' name in reply to Rahul Gandhi's outcry, calling him(Modi) a Chor (Chowkidar chor hai) in the matter of Rafele deal with France. Modi removed the Chowkidar prefix immediately after his party got the absolute majority in the LokSabha poll. Other BJP leaders followed him.
Modi had centred his election campaign ion Chowkidar jibe and claimed that every body in this country is chowkidar. It was turning point in BJP's strategy after getting high after Pulwama attack on CRPF jawans.
