AMRITSAR: A special meeting of the Inner Committee was held under the presidentship of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, hete today at the Shiromani Committee office, has demanded the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann from the post of Chief Minister of Punjab, respecting the order issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib in the case of immoral acts that hurt the Sikh sentiments
Along with this, the meeting has decided to call a general meeting of the Shiromani Committee on June 27 and to motivate the Sangat to follow the order of Sri Akal Takht Sahib by gathering at the constituency level.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the actions in the objectionable video related to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh have hurt the religious sentiments of the entire Sikh world.
Regarding the investigation of this matter at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Jathedar gave the Chief Minister full opportunity to present his side and suggest laboratories for forensic examination, but it was not considered appropriate for him to even respond to the letters written by the Secretariat Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
He said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme authority of the Sikh community, which is respected throughout the Sikh world. The Sikh community always bows down to the orders given from this great place. The tradition of punishing the traitors of the Panth and giving respect to those who love the Guru here is a reflection of the uniqueness and dignity of the Sikh community.
He said that in the case of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh's anti-Sikh act, the decision has come from Sri Akal Takht Sahib in accordance with the same tradition, which is extremely important for the Sikh community. Because if the Chief Minister, being the head of the Sikhs' own home state of Punjab, will insult the sentiments of the Sikhs, then how can he be expected to represent the religious values ​​and beliefs of the people of the state. He said that in the light of the order of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, S. Bhagwant Singh has no right to continue in the post of Chief Minister.
He said that it is the duty of every Sikh to bow down before the national traditions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Since the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee is the Sikh organization responsible for propagating the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, it is an appeal to the entire nation to respect the great tradition, manners and orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and fulfill their duty according to national unity, discipline and Gurmat principles.
He said that it has also been decided to call a general meeting of the Shiromani Committee on June 27 at Teja Singh Samundri Hall regarding this serious matter, in which the next outline will be drawn. He said that the Shiromani Committee will hold large gatherings in every constituency and the Sangat will be motivated to follow the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. In response to a question, Advocate Dhami said that some people are spreading wrong propaganda regarding the welcome of the law made regarding sacrilege. The Shiromani Committee is demanding the removal of objectionable clauses in this law for the national interest. He said that in this regard, Sri Akal Takht Sahib has called the Sikh members of the Vidhan Sabha and every MLA should follow it. In response to a question, Advocate Dhami said that a false statement is being made about his relations with the Shiromani Akali Dal. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal is an organization of martyrs and I am proud to be associated with this great organization of my ancestors. He said that I always pay homage to the personalities who made sacrifices for the establishment of this organization and made great contributions to it.

SGPC to soon set up press and Gurmat propaganda centers at Ubacity, USA
Meanwhile, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, while talking about the visit to America along with his delegation, said that the purpose of this was to establish a press and Gurmat Prachar Kendra for printing Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at Uba City by the SGPC. He said that US resident S. Didar Singh Bains had given about 14 acres of land to the SGPC in 2013.
He said that the process has been started for the necessary approvals for the work to be done on it. As per the rules there, a 7-member committee has been formed, in which the office bearers of the SGPC will work as its members. He said that for these works, a bank account has been activated by the SGPC in America and S. Karamjit Singh Bains is working for the map and other approvals. He said that it will be started as soon as possible after the necessary approvals. With the start of this work, the Sikh Sangat will be able to receive the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from here. He said that this will be the first center of the Shiromani Committee on foreign soil. He said that the local leaders and the Sangat have expressed their commitment to cooperate with the Shiromani Committee in every way.
