Awareness Seminar on National Pension System Organized for MSME Units
An awareness seminar on the National Pension System (NPS) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was organized at Hotel Best Western under the Amritsar North Assembly Constituency. The seminar was jointly organized by Laghu Udyog Bharti, HRD Chamber of Commerce, HDFC Bank and State Bank of India with the special efforts of District President Mr. Amit Kapoor, Vice President Mrs. Priyanka Goyal, and Chairman Mr. J.P. Singh.
AMRITSAR: An awareness seminar on the National Pension System (NPS) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was organized at Hotel Best Western under the Amritsar North Assembly Constituency. The seminar was jointly organized by Laghu Udyog Bharti, HRD Chamber of Commerce, HDFC Bank and State Bank of India with the special efforts of District President Mr. Amit Kapoor, Vice President Mrs. Priyanka Goyal, and Chairman Mr. J.P. Singh.
The seminar was chaired by Mr. Sheetal Juneja, Member, Trade Commission Punjab. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Juneja stated that the National Pension System is an important initiative that provides financial security to entrepreneurs, businesspersons and employees after retirement. He elaborated on the various benefits of NPS, including tax advantages, long-term savings opportunities and effective financial planning for the future.
During the seminar, experts from the banking and financial sectors provided detailed information regarding the features of the National Pension System, enrollment procedures, investment options and pension benefits. The speakers encouraged entrepreneurs and employees associated with the MSME sector to enroll in NPS to secure their financial future.
Prominent industrialists and business leaders present on the occasion included Mr. Pyara Lal Seth, Mr. Davinder Singh, Mr. Pran Aggarwal, Mr. Nipun Aggarwal, Mr. Raja Iqbal Singh, Dr. Uma Shanker, CA Jaideep Singh (President, HRD Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Vivek Sharma, Mr. Ajay Mahajan, Mr. Aditya Sharma, along with a large number of representatives from the business and industrial sectors.
The participants appreciated the initiative and observed that such awareness programmes play a vital role in helping entrepreneurs and employees make informed decisions regarding their financial future and retirement planning.
