Cambridge international school, phagwara - poem recitation compitition

PHAGWARA:Cambridge International School, Phagwara organized an Inter-house English Poetry Recitation Competition for classes 1 and 2 on 15th  July, 2022. The theme for the competition was ‘Nature’. The preliminary round was conducted for all the students.

About 30 students from each grade were selected for final round. The young poets enthralled the audience with their articulation and memory
skills while reciting poems. Students were judged on the parameters like expression, content, fluency, pronunciation, confidence and
overall presentation. Mayansh from Grade 1 bagged first position, Akalveer, Kanan Gupta, Maurya bagged second position, Sana and Parnika
stood third. Vidhi Wadhwa and Dhriti got consolation prize. Nymah Rawal stood first, Hemakshi, Aarik Jalota & Samridhi Khanna bagged
second position, Aditya Kapoor, Nimrat and Tanish stood third, Manya,  Vivaan, Gurasees, Beyaa and Bhavnoor got consolation.

Chairperson Mrs. Jasbir Kaur Bassi and School Principal Mr. Jorawar Singh appreciated and congratulated each and every student for their
outstanding performance.
