Migrant arrested for smuggling liquor

The investigating officer (IO) Nirmal Singh said
The accused has been identified as Anoj Kumar a resident of Jharkhand state .
IO said Flying and Static Surveillance Team (FST) no 9 in-charge
Lakhbir Singh informed the police that they have seized 53 bottles of
whisky (Lords) and 36 mufflers of Congress party stored in mansion of
municipal councillor Pita and arrested one person.
IO said the police reached on the spot and recovered 53 bottles of liquor.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered
against the accused and impounded car.
