SGPC President expressed grief over the demise of Begum Munawar Ul Nisa.
AMRITSAR: Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, president of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, has expressed grave sorrow over the death of Munawar Ul Nisa, the last Begum of the family of Nawab-e-Malerkotla Sher Muhammad Khan, who cried out on the martyrdom of Chhote Sahibzades.He said that the name of Nawab Malerkotla is recorded as respected in Sikh history and the nation has always respected his descendants.

He said that the name of Nawab Malerkotla is recorded as respected in Sikh history and the nation has always respected his descendants.
He said that the death of Munawar ul Nisa, the last Begum of Malerkotla dynasty, is deeply saddened.
Advocate Dhami said that the Sikh community will always remember the voice raised by Nawab Malerkotla for truth.
It is to be noted that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee honored Begum Munawar Ul Nisa in April 2023 by holding a special event at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
