CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), in line with the zero-tolerance policy against corruption adopted by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has registered a corruption case against police constable Rajinder Kumar (No. 1293/Fazilka), posted at Police Station Abohar city, in Fazilka district, Punjab Home Guard (PHG) volunteer Ravi Kumar, (No. 7064/D) 6th Battalion, and their accomplice, a private person, Sagar Verma, resident of village Dangar Khera, in Fazilka for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000. In this case Constable Rajinder Kumar and his accomplice Sagar Verma have been arrested and VB teams searching for the third accused.
