AMRITSAR: A delegation of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has today met the Governor of Meghalaya Mr. C.H. Vijayashankar and sought his intervention to resolve the issue of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar located in Punjabi Colony at Shillong immediately.
Yesterday, this delegation met the Chief Secretary of Meghalaya Government Mr. Donald Phillips Wahlang and handed over a demand letter to solve the problems of the Sikhs of Shillong as well as to immediately stop the demolition of the Gurdwara Sahib.
In continuation of this, a meeting was held with the Governor of Meghalaya today.
