Eighteen years old plus two student dies in the school swimming pool under mysterious circumstances

AMRITSAR: Student of Plus two standard died under mysterious circumstances in the newly built swimming pool at Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School of Excellence at Shubam Enclave G.T. Road Amritsar here today.
Mrs. Sunita mother of deceased confirming the incident said that today there was a swimming competition in the Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School of Excellence at Shubam Enclave G.T. Road Amritsar where her son Aryan (18) had gone to take part in the swimming competition where he reportedly died.
She said after the incident today in the evening around 8.00 pm her son was shifted to Nova Medicity hospital where doctors declared him brought dead and thereafter the members of the school management left the body in the hospital and fled away from the scene and became inaccessible for the deceased family.
Sunita (mother) alleged that she was not even aware of what exactly happened to her son and how he died inside the swimming pool and nobody from school management was coming forward to tell the family about the incident that occurred in the school swimming pool. She demanded a higher level probe.
When contacted the Punjab Police ACP East Mr. Ravinder Singh Sidhu said that he was surprised that why the matter was not brought into the notice of police even though neither School management nor parents of the child bothered but certainly it was a matter of deep investigation.
When contacted, management of CKD including president, secretary, General Secretary and members all preferred to maintain silence over the incident.
However, Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School of Excellence being run by the Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) having main headquarters at Amritsar was constituted 111 years ago with the initiative of eminent Punjabi poet/writer Bhai Veer Singh. The organization deals with religious, educational and cultural issues.
