EC Seeks Report from Chief Secretary on FIR registered by VB on Jang-e-Azadi Case
CHANDIGARH: The Election Commission of India's Special Observer for Lok Sabha Elections for the state of Punjab during review meeting has asked CEO Punjab to seek a report from the Chief Secretary, Punjab on news items published in various newspapers on 23 May, 2024 on Vigilance Bureau (VB) registering case related to construction of Jang-e-Azadi Memorial at Kartarpur, Jalandhar.

Chief Secretary Punjab was requested to submit a factual report by 23.05.24 evening positively so that the commission may be apprised.
