Four member of Canada based Punjabi NRI family killed in road accident
CHANDIGARH: Four members of a NRI Punjabi family living in Canada died in a road accident. They included father, mother and their daughter beside a relative said to be sister of the deceased.
The deceased head of the family has been identified as Sukhwant Singh alias Sukh Brar living in Abbotsford in British Columbia, Canada. Rajinder Kaur wife of Sukh Brar and their daughter Kamal Kaur also died in the accident. The fourth victim is Chhinder Kaur sister of Sukh Brar.
According to reports, the family belonged to village Rodkipura near Jaito, district Faridkot in Punjab. The family members were on their way to home of a family friend when their car met with an accident.
A wave of shock gripped their native village.
