Sukhbir Singh Badal strongly condemned the brutal lathicharge on Linemen in Patiala
AMRITSAR: Sukhbir Singh Badal president Shiromani Akali Dal has strongly condemned the brutal lathicharge on the ITI-trained apprentices of the '2600 Apprenticeship Linemen Union' who were peacefully protesting in Patiala today.
He said that chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should answer why his government is refusing to accept their legitimate demands to regularize their services, scrap the unnecessary written test for assistant linemen posts, and give priority in recruitment as promised.
"Bhagwant Mann is not standing by his word and is only spreading false propaganda while the youth are being beaten up for their legitimate demand for jobs, he added.
