CHANDIGARH: In a bid to promote environmental sustainability and community engagement, Bisleri's Bottle for Change in collaboration with Centre for Social Work, Panjab University (P.U.), Enactus SSBUICET team, Horticulture Division P.U., NSS Open Unit Chandigarh, Indian Plastic Institute, Youth Socialgram Foundation and Rotaract Club Himalayan Chandigarh organized a Mega Cleaning Drive in Panjab University campus.
Prof.Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, P.U., Prof. Amit Chauhan (DSW), Mr. Anil Thakur, XEN Horticulture Division PU, Prof. Gaurav Gaur, Chairperson Centre for Social Work, Prof. Monica Munjal Singh, Prof. Sukhbir Kaur Professor, Zoology Department, Prof. Yogesh Kumar Rawal Chairperson Dept. of Zoology, Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor, Enactus team, Engineering Department, P.U. and Sukhman Singh, Social Worker at Bisleri Bottles for change participated in the campaign.
The cleanliness campaign conducted across the university campus and its adjacent areas saw the energetic involvement of more than 200 volunteers. Collaboratively, they dedicated their efforts to clearing litter and enhancing the campus's aesthetics, leaving a beneficial influence on the community and showcasing a model of responsible student behavior at Panjab University.
