Process of general transfers in Education department completed: Dhol

CHANDIGARH : The Education department has announced that the general transfer process in the department has completed. The department has asked the teachers not to approach the department henceforth for their transfers as the transfer process is completed on June 30.

Balbir Singh Dhol, DPI (Secondary Education) said that the Punjab Government had fixed June 30 as the last date of the general transfers and this date has not been extended further. He said that all the DEOs and School Heads have been instructed to comply with the orders of transfer orders issued by the department. He said that such reports has been received that some of the DEOs and Schools Heads are not implementing transfer orders. He further said that if any DEOs/School Heads have been found guilty of not implementing the transfer orders would be dealt with discipline action.
