Innayat Gupta tops the final result list of Punjab Civil Services 2015 batch

CHANDIGARH : The results for the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination-2015 were declared. Two girls from Sangrur district and a boy from Ludhiana claimed the top positions.

Innayat Gupta (22), a Dhuri-based B.Tech graduate, topped the exams with an aggregate of 61.13 per cent. Babandeep Singh Walia, a B.Tech graduate from BITS, Pilani, stood second with 58.76 per cent, and Kanu Garg, an engineer, secured the third top position with 57.84 per cent marks.
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) had on June 30 declared a list of 264 candidates, who had been shortlisted for the final interviews for filling of 101 executive and allied posts in various departments of the state government. However, only 261 appeared for the final interviews.

Meanwhile, the aspirants had a tough time accessing the website of the PPSC that crashed at 5:15 pm sending them into a tizzy. The final results were made public at 8 pm after which these were uploaded on the website.
