LUDHIANA: Punjab Agricultural University’s Punjab Agri Business Incubator (PABI) was conferred with the prestigious “Best Incubator Award” at Startup Samagam 4.0 – Leaders’ Conclave 2026, held today at Park Plaza, Ludhiana. The event brought together leading entrepreneurs, investors, academic institutions, incubators and policymakers from across the state to celebrate Punjab’s growing startup ecosystem.
The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, who attended as the Chief Guest. His presence added immense dignity and inspiration to the event, reflecting the strong encouragement being extended towards innovation, entrepreneurship and youth-led economic development in Punjab. The Governor appreciated the efforts being made by institutions and incubators in creating an enabling environment for startups and innovation-driven enterprises.

On this proud achievement, the Vice Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University, Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, congratulated the PABI team and stated that the award is a reflection of PAU’s commitment towards fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable agribusiness development. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of the incubator in supporting young innovators and startups, and emphasized that PAU will continue to promote research-led entrepreneurship for the benefit of farmers, rural communities and the larger agricultural ecosystem.

The conclave served as a major platform for discussions on entrepreneurship, investment opportunities, startup scaling and collaborative innovation in Punjab.
