Panjab University invites applications for IAS (Preliminary) August 2026 coaching programme, Entrance Exam Rescheduled to August 6
CHANDIGARH: The Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for its IAS (Preliminary) August 2026 Batch, aimed at preparing aspirants for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The registration process has started and candidates may submit their applications up to July 31, 2026 (5.00 p.m.). The entrance test will be conducted on August 6, 2026; merit list will be displayed on August 7, 2026. The classes are scheduled to commence from August 17, 2026.
The four-month programme will have an intake of 70 seats, including 54 General, 11 SC and 5 ST seats. Classes will be held at the Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations, PU, from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (tentative).
Graduates in any discipline, as well as students appearing in the final year of their graduation, are eligible to apply. The entrance test will be based on the pattern of the UPSC Civil.
