AMRITSAR: Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj has congratulated Punjab’s Sikh youth Gurindervir Singh for breaking India’s national record in the 100-metre race and becoming the country’s fastest runner by completing the sprint in 10.09 seconds.
He said the Sikh community feels proud of the achievement of the Sabat Soorat Sikh athlete and described it as a source of inspiration for Sikh youth across the world. He urged young people to draw motivation from Gurindervir Singh’s success and strive to achieve greater heights

in life.
He further said it is a matter of pride that Punjab’s Sikh youth are making remarkable achievements nationally and internationally.
Giving a message to the youth, he appealed to them to remain engaged in education, sports, honest work and selfless service in Guru’s house, and to stay completely away from the menace of drugs.
