PU to organise Entrepreneurship Summit, ‘UDYAMI 2016’

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University(PU), Chandigarh would organise Entrepreneurship Summit, ‘UDYAMI 2016’ from March 18, 2016 to March 20, 2016.

The ‘UDYAMI 2016’ is being organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), UIET, Panjab University to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young minds. The three day event will witness high profile speakers, investors and entrepreneurs. Students too will have plenty in store with competitions like Problemania 3.0, Bid Your Own Company, Tour guide, Plan-o-thon, and many more.

The three day event will provide a platform for students, experienced investors and entrepreneurs to make the concept of an indigenous business and its associated pros and cons familiar to them in an interactive way. The main focus will be on fostering the
start-up ecosystem of this developing nation by engaging with the country's youth through a plethora of events that include workshops, competitions, panel discussions and networking sessions.

With an expected turnaround of entrepreneurs, researchers, investors and students, bridging this gap between a start-up and mentors has never been easier. The event hence is a great opportunity to create an ambience for start-ups and new ideas.

Many speakers like Founder of Jugnoo Mr. Samar Singla, Founder CEO & MD-Connovate Technology Mr. Bahubali Shete, ex-Air Asia CFO Mr. Vijay Gopalan and Venture Partner-Helion Ventures Mr. Srikanth Sundararajan would address the ‘UDYAMI 2016’ and
share their experience with the participants.
