PU reserch scholar Anita Kadian gets three Young Scientist Awards

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Research Scholar Ms. Anita Kadian has been felicitated with three Young Scientist Awards and the Best Paper Presentation award at National and International Conferences held in the current season.

Kadian is working with Prof. Neelima R. Kumar and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur in the field of Honey Bee Science at the Department of Zoology, PU. She has received the Young Scientist Award during the second International Conference on New Challenges in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology in the context of 21st Century (NCBMBCC) held at St. Johns College, Agra on February 27-29, 2016. The International Conference was organised by the Indian Society of Genetics, Biotechnology Research & Development, Agra, India. She also received Best Paper Presentation Award during the International Conference at St. Johns College, Agra.

Earlier Ms. Kadian received Young Scientist Award from Panjab Academy of Science during the 19th Panjab Science Congress held at SUS group of colleges, Tangori (Mohali) from 7th to 9th February, 2016. She was selected for the Young Scientist Award at the 8th
National Conference on Recent advances in Chemical, Biological and Environmental Sciences held at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala on February 19-20, 2016.
