CHANDIGARH: In a major reshuffle of Punjab Police officers, the state government today appointed Mandeep Singh Sidhu 2008 batch IPS as DIG of India Rserve Police. Sidhu was recently transferred from the post of Commissioner of Police Ludhiana and presently working as DIG Administration.
R.N.Dhoke 1993 batch IPS has been divested of charge of Enforcement Director Mining Punjab and he will continue as special DGP Internal security.
Saumya Mishra IPS of 2014 batch who was working as Joint Commissioner of Police Ludhiana city has been appointed SSP Ferozepur against a vacant post.
Gaganajit Singh has been appointed SSP of newsly formed Sadak Surakhya Force in additiofn commandent 2nd commando Battaliion Bahadurgarh.
