Plant Trees, save the environment for the daughters and sons - Aujla

AMRITSAR: Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla today planted saplings in Mudhal village and appealed to people to plant saplings and save trees. Meanwhile, Dinesh Bassi, the former chairman of the Improvement Trust, was also present with him. Earlier in the morning, MP Aujla met the people in his office and resolved their problems on the spot.

MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla today planted saplings in the government school of village Mudhal, while earlier yesterday he planted saplings at village Mahal on Ram Tirth Road with the support of Gurdwara Baba Darshan Singhi Kulian Walia.

Appealing to the people on this occasion, Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that he had planted saplings in this village last year as well, which have now become green and he is feeling very happy to see them.

He appealed and said that every person should plant at least one tree because planting a tree is not a very difficult task but the benefits from it are invaluable. He said that once a tree is planted, oxygen starts getting available and then a slowly growing tree is not only necessary for human life but also for the life of animals and birds. MP Aujla said that at present it is very important to save the existing trees along with planting trees. If someone cuts down a tree or sets it on fire, legal action will be taken and will not be forgiven. Member of Parliament Aujla said that if trees are saved today, it means that sons and daughters have been saved, so trees must be planted. He said that he is always present to support this work and if anyone needs plants, they can get them from his office. Their effort is to make their city green by planting trees in every street and neighborhood.

Earlier, MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met the common people in his office in the morning. He listened to the problems of the people and solved them on the spot by talking to the officials.

He told the people that they are always available to serve them and if they are out, their staff listens to people's problems.

On this occasion, Sarpanch Sukhraj Singh Randhawa, Principal Arvinder Singh, Satnam Singh, Iqbal Singh, Jatinder Singh, Preetpal Singh Shah, Harinder Singh, Jagtar Singh Baba Nikka, Surjit Singh, Baldev Singh Shah, Shamsher Singh Shah, Manjit Singh, Pradhan Sukhwinder Singh Hardev Singh, Gulzar Singh and other colleagues were present.
