CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government has removed Onkar Singh Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Onkar Singh was a loyalist aide of Bhagwant Mann and handling all his office work.
He was also in charge of the Dhuri assembly constituency. He was appointed on this post on August 31, 2022.
Though officially no reason for the removal of Onkar Singh, it is alleged that he was involved in corrupt practices and behaving arrogantly with party workers.
This is not the first time a loyalist of Bhagwant Mann was expelled from his post. Earlier Manjit Singh Sidhu ISD(Media) who was class mate and long time friend of Bhagwant Mann was sent home without assigning any reason.
