Farmers burnt effigy of Kangana Ranaut in Goraya

PHAGWARA: Hundreds of activists belonging to Bhartiya Kisan Union (Doaba) today registered their protest against the wrongly suspension of CISG constable Kulwinder Kaur on the charges of allegedly slapping Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut MP at Mohali Airport without detailed verification the truth.

The irate Farmers led by Farmers Leader Tersem Singh amidst noisy slogans against BJP Government and burnt the effigy of Kangana Ranaut at Bus Stand Chowk in Goraya today.BKU(Doaba) President Manjit Singh Rai, General Secretary Satnam Singh Sahni and Media Incharge Gurpal Singh Mauli warned and threatened the BJP led Union Government that farmers will intensify their stir against BJP and its MP Kangana Ranaut, if CISF Cop Kulpreet Kaur could not be freed and the FIR registered against her be withdrawn. They said the demonstration would could continue till acceptance of their demand.
