DHARAMSALA: Ghorpitth panchayat of Kangra district in Himachal has bagged the national award. Informing this the Deputy Commissioner Dr Nipun Jindal said on Monday.
"On the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas, Gram Panchayat Ghorpitth, Block Baijnath District Kangra was conferred the Deen Dayal Upadhya Panchayat Sashaktikaran Puruskar and Nanaji Deshmukh Rashtriya Gaurav Gram Sabha Puruskar by Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji in a virtual event."
