Kangra D C cancelled leave of SDO (C),Tehsildars & Naib Tehsildars

DHARAMSALA: Kangra D C Dr. Nipun Jindal IAS has informed the media that In view of incessant rains and prevailing conditions thereof, the leaves sanctioned in favor of SDO (Civil), Tehsildars & Naib Tehsildars in District Kangra are hereby cancelled. They are further directed to report on their duty with immediate effect.

The Sub Divisional Magistrate , Dehra of Kangra has also informed that In view of incessant rain and prevailing conditions thereof water level of Beas River has increased up to danger level. Therefore, Shri kalinath Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple at Tahsil Rakkar District Kangra is hereby remain closed with effect from 9th July 2023 to 11th July 2023 for three days for the safety of general public and pilgrimages.

The Meteorological Center, Shimla has issued a red alert for Sunday of Heavy to very heavy rainfall Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra. Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Solan districts.
