Rajasthan: South Indian film producer R.B. Chaudhary killed in road accident near Pali

JAIPUR: Renowned South Indian film producer and businessman R.B. Chaudhary died in a road accident near Jhunta village on National Highway-162 in Rajasthan's Pali. He was 76-years-old.

Chaudhary, originally from Risaniya near Sojat Road and currently based in Chennai, was returning from a family wedding in Lilamba village when the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, the vehicle lost control after cattle suddenly came onto the road and crashed into a roadside safety wall.

The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in Chaudhary's death on the spot.

The car driver, Gautam Seervi, sustained serious injuries and was initially given first aid before being referred to Jodhpur for further treatment.

Officials from Raipur police station reached the spot soon after the incident.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Manohar Lal Khoja supervised rescue efforts and ensured the injured were shifted to hospital.
