Kapurthala police gets huge success against drugs- seized 400 gm Ice drug

KAPURTHALA: In a major success under the war against drugs, kapurthala police has recovered 400 gm Ice drug from a peddler who runs the racket with his relative who was logged in kapurthala jail .

SSP Mr Navneet singh Bains said Police party has recovered 400 ice drug from Gurpreet singh R/O Ghauradi under PS Mahilpur during special naka near Kanjli .

He also said that during the preliminary investigation the accused Gurpreet singh has revealed that along with Harminder singh R/O Binjo village under PS Mahilpur , they both runs the drug racket from central jail Kapurthala as Harminder singh is logged in the jail .

SSP further said that the case has been registered against the both Gurpreet singh and Harminder singh @ Sonu .

He also said that the police will get the remand of Gurpreet singh which will provide further leads in the drug racket besides bringing Harminder singh on production warrant for further investigation in the matter.

SP Harvinder singh and other prominent police officials were also present on this occasion.
