UNITED SIKHS extend Sikh Sangat of Virginia for supporting flood relief efforts in Punjab

FAIRFAX, VA: UNITED SIKHS extends heartfelt appreciation to the Sikh sangat of Virginia at Singh Sabha Gurdwara Sahib, Fairfax, for their overwhelming support and generosity toward ongoing flood relief efforts in Panjab. The spirit of seva and unity demonstrated by the community continues to inspire and uplift our mission.

Last Friday’s gathering (October 3) marked a powerful moment of collective compassion and advocacy. We are especially grateful to State Senator Ghazala Hashmi, who visited the UNITED SIKHS booth on Sunday, September 28, and stood in solidarity with the cause. Her presence reaffirmed the importance of cross-community partnerships in times of crisis.

Hardayal Singh, Program Director of UNITED SIKHS, also joined the sangat and delivered moving remarks that called for continued unity, action, and faith-rooted resilience. His message resonated deeply with attendees and reinforced the global impact of grassroots mobilization.
