Three snatchers arrested by Phagwara police
PHAGWARA: The Shahkot police have arrested three miscreants on the charge of chain snatching.

Investigating officer (IO) and Malsian police post in charge Kewal said that the accused have been identified as Samayial son of Amarjit Singh a resident of Seeche Wal village, Chandan, and Yuvraj son of Purshotam residents of Yako Pur Khurd.
Avtar alias Sonu a resident of Rupe Wal village complained to the police that the accused waylaid him near Malsian village on January 29 late evening and snatched his smartphone and iPod at the point of sharp edges weapons. She was returning her home from gurdwara.
IO said a case under section 379-B(snatching) has been registered against the accused.
