Six drug addicts arrested for consuming heroin
PHAGWARA: The Nakodar City police have arrested two drug addicts on the charge of consuming heroin. Investigating Officer (IO) Rup Singh said the accused have been identified as Manpreet a resident of Sharak Pur village, and Navdeep Kumar, a resident of Mahalla Bhagat Singh Nagar.
IO said two lighters, silver papers, and plastic pipes used for consuming contraband were recovered from his possession. A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Mehatpur police arrested drug addict Deepak of Rai Pur Aariyan village for consuming heroin, said IO Jaspal Singh.
The Shahkot police arrested three drug addicts, Satnam Singh of Bagian village in Ludhiana, Gurjant Singh of Mannak Pur village and Jogindar Pal of Raunta village for consuming heroin said IO Sarwann Singh
