14 persons booked for criminal trespass, rioting
PHAGWARA: The Mehat Pur police have booked fourteen persons on the charge of, criminal trespass pass, criminal intimidation, and rioting.Investigating officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Roshan Lal, Harmesh Lal, Surinder Ram, and Manna all residents of Ramu Wal village, and their ten unidentified accomplices.

Investigating officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Roshan Lal, Harmesh Lal, Surinder Ram, and Manna all residents of Ramu Wal village, and their ten unidentified accomplices.
Hirdepal Singh, a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his field to encroach it used abusive language and threatened to kill him.
IO said a case under sections 447(criminal trespass) 506(criminal intimidation) 427(mischief) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC have been registered against the accused.
