KCVAS Table Tennis Team Wins Silver

AMRITSAR:The Table Tennis team of Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS), Amritsar got second position and won the Silver Medal in Inter-College table tennis championship of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana. The tournament was organized by the GADVASU and all the colleges of the Varsity participated in this tournament. KCVAS team was represented by Anurag, Kartik and Mansimar. Dr. SS Rath, Head, Deptt. of Vety Extension accompanied the team as Manager-cum-coach.

Further, it is to mention that KCVAS, Amritsar is helping the students in sports and other cultural and extracurricular activities for creating an all-rounder type trained Veterinarians ready to serve the society, said the Principal. Dr. HK Verma, Principal, KCVAS was the chief Guest at the prize ceremony and distributed the prizes to the winners.

The Principal, KCVAS, Dr. H.K. Verma, congratulated the winners and conveyed his good wishes to the team. Dr. S.K. Nagpal, Managing Director of KCVAS also encouraged the winners and congratulated them for their achievements.
