Aman Dahiya and Suhitha Maruri lift singles titles

CHANDIGARH: Second seed Aman Dahiya upset top seed Nishant Dabas in straight sets 6-0, 6-4.in the boys singles of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-4) for boys and girls under-18 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

. Aman Dahiya won the first set 6-0 without conceding a single game, In the second set Aman maintained his rhythm and used his big forehand to beat Nishant Dabas 6-4. Aman played top quality tennis and covered his big forehand approximately 70 per cent of the court.

In the girls section eighth seed Suhitha Maruri ) overcame a slow start to beat her sister third seed Reshma Maruri 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 in a 3 setter marathon match. Suhitha and her sister Reshma Maruri had won girls doubles title yesterday.

, CLTA Vice President Dr. Jasjit Singh distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up.
