PANCHKULA: Aam Aadmi Party blows the election bugle for Haryana Assembly elections. On Saturday, in the state level town hall program at Indradhanush Stadium in Panchkula, Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor and wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal, gave five guarantees of Arvind Kejriwal to the people of Haryana. Along with her, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Sanjay Singh, National General Secretary (Organization) Dr. Sandeep Pathak, State President Dr. Sushil Gupta, State Senior Vice President Anurag Dhanda and Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers from every corner of the state were present among others.
She said Haryana's Lal Arvind Kejriwal has given five guarantees to the public, the first of which will be free domestic electricity like Delhi and Punjab. There will be provision of electricity 24 hours a day. The second guarantee is that like Delhi and Punjab, we will work on building mohalla clinics in every village and every city. Government hospitals will be good, everyone will get good and free treatment. The third guarantee will be to make government schools better, where good and free education will be provided. The fourth guarantee will be to give one thousand rupees every month to our mothers & sisters. The fifth guarantee will provide employment to every unemployed youth. He said that Arvind Kejriwal brought change in Delhi, change is happening in Punjab. Now it is the our responsibility to change in Haryana.
Earlier, she said that you all know that Arvind Kejriwal is the son of Haryana. I was married to him in 1994. At that time Arvind ji's family lived in Hisar. His father used to work there. Arvind ji was born in Siwani village, but his education and upbringing took place in Hisar.
She said no one could have imagined even in their dreams that this boy would serve the people of Delhi after 20 years. He was born on 16 August 1968, that day was Krishna Janmashtami. This is not mere a coincidence.
She said God wants him to do something big. Arvind ji contested elections for the first time and became the Chief Minister of Delhi. He created a stir in the country's politics. Did such work which no other party could do. Today people all over the world know Arvind Kejriwal for his works.
She said Arvind Kejriwal improved the government schools of Delhi and Punjab. Made the future of poor children brighter. Made wonderful mohalla clinics and hospitals, where free and good treatment is provided. He made the electricity free. Women were given the facility to travel free in the bus. Organized free pilgrimage for the elderly and gave an honorarium of Rs 1, 000 to every woman every month.
She said no party has done these things for the public so far. Only Haryana's Lal Arvind Kejriwal can do this. That's why Modi ji is jealous of him. Therefore, a fake case was filed against him and he was put in jail. They say that Kejriwal is a thief. I say that if Kejriwal is a thief then no one is honest in this world. Modi ji has put the son of Haryana, the son of Haryana, in jail. Modi ji has challenged Haryana.
She said, will the people of Haryana silently tolerate the insult of their son? Kejriwal is a lion. Kejriwal will not bow down before Modi ji. We will not sit silent now. Modi ji is from Gujarat, when Modi ji became Prime Minister in 2014, the people of his state gave all the seats of Gujarat to BJP. Your Arvind Kejriwal brought glory to Haryana in the country and the world. You have to support them. There are elections in Haryana after three months, BJP should not win even a single seat. This is a matter of honor for Haryana.
Sardar Bhagwant Mann said Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal left the income tax job to serve the public. We do not consider politics as a business, it is not a profession but a passion. If the leaders of other parties were right then what was the need for us to form a party. They challenged us to do it, we did it, so now they are saying don't come. The people of Haryana gave every party a chance. But no one turned out to be good. When we went to Jind, Kaithal, Tohana and Sonipat to hold rallies, people used to tell us that if you are doing such good work in Delhi and Punjab, then come to Haryana also. So that our standard of living also becomes higher. BJP people are rhetoricians, but Arvind Kejriwal gives guarantees.
He said earlier BJP used to call it manifesto and resolution letter, then they stole the word guarantee from Arvind Kejriwal, Arvind Kejriwal has proved himself by fulfilling his promises. I am standing in front of you after providing 43 thousand jobs in Punjab in just two and a half years. Aam Aadmi Party did not take bribe of even a single rupee from anyone. When we were giving guarantees of free electricity in Punjab, the opposition used to say that it is not possible, where will the money come from. But we knew that the money would come from their own pockets. So, as soon as the government was formed in March, we made 600 units of electricity free for two months in July. Today, 90 percent of the houses have zero electricity bill. Earlier electricity was available in the fields for 8 hours, today electricity is available for 12 hours a day for farmers.
He said BJP tells lies after lies. I said in the Parliament, “When I write the amount of Rs 15 lakh, the pen stops, when I think about black money, the ink dries up, everything turns out to be a jumla. This time their lies did not work. They say 400 seats would be won by BJP. Journalists asked me how Aam Aadmi Party stopped the storm of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Punjab. I said that when we cleaned the mud with a broom, the lotus did not grow. Now it is the turn of cleanliness in Haryana.
He said half of Haryana is connected to Delhi and half is connected to Punjab. I also have relatives in Haryana. In Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party won 92 seats by defeating big leaders. When people fight, no one survives. The people of Punjab are not even ready to take the names of Akali Dal people. We have also fulfilled those guarantees in Punjab which were not given. We merged the pensions of MLAs because there is no pension for public service.
He said Aam Aadmi Party has so far closed 17 toll plazas. Due to this, Punjabis are saving Rs 60 lakh every day. Seeing the enthusiasm of the people, it seems that now Aam Aadmi Party will rule from Punjab to the border of UP. Like Delhi and Punjab, if the power of Haryana is handed over to the honest party Aam Aadmi Party, thefts will be stopped. Arvind Kejriwal used to say only those things which you can do. That's why we don't use slogans like BJP. BJP cannot defeat us honestly and truly.
He said when Arvind Kejriwal left his job and stood up for the people, people made him the Chief Minister thrice and now there are preparations for the fourth time also. They want to scare us by putting us in jail. Apart from this, if a soldier is martyred on the border, his family is given an honorarium of Rs 1 crore. If you bring out you and Haryana's Lal Arvind Kejriwal and stand in his favor, then we will feel that the lamp of revolution is burning.
Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said the public has to drive out the ghost of power which has been haunting BJP for the last 10 years. Because a broom is needed to clean the house, locality, village and the whole of Haryana, apart from this, if someone's mind is possessed by a demon, then a broom is also needed. On one side, there is the model of BJP which has only misled the public by making false promises. Lied in the name of removing unemployment, said that it will provide two crore jobs every year. Agniveer lied in the name of inflation, education, poor health and repairing roads. BJP's slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is the biggest lie. On one hand, there is the guarantee of BJP's lies, on the other hand, there is the guarantee of Arvind Kejriwal, who has the guarantee of truth and the guarantee of proving everything.
He said this fight is between truth and lies. These are not the slogans of the double engine government of PM Modi and Nayab Saini. This is the guarantee of Arvind Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal is a person who delivers more than his promises, Delhi is an example of this. When Arvind Kejriwal became the Chief Minister, he used to go on tour with Manish Sisodia, there were spider webs in those government schools. Children used to study sitting on cots, there was no provision of toilet for daughters. Today, air conditioned rooms have been built in the same government schools for the education of children. Swimming pools have been constructed in government schools, athletes and hockey grounds have been built. The wife of the US President refused to see the schools of Gujarat, UP and Madhya Pradesh and said that she wants to see the schools built by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
He said earlier people used to say learn from America, today Americans are saying learn from Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. Arvind Kejriwal gave free electricity to the poor, after the formation of Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also gave 300 units of electricity free of cost. Now slogans are raised that electricity bill in Delhi and Punjab is zero, Kejriwal and Mann is hero. If you want free electricity then you need Arvind Kejriwal in Haryana also. Aam Aadmi Party is providing free education, free electricity, free water and free bus travel for women. Farishte Scheme was implemented in Delhi, all these schemes were implemented by Delhi Government. When PM Modi had to praise Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain who gave the model of Mohalla Clinic. So far from appreciating, he did opposite & said these people are doing good work, catch them and put them in jail.
He said BJP first put Satendra Jain in jail, then Manish Sisodia, then me and then Arvind Kejriwal. I want to tell Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders that this is the Aam Aadmi Party, we are born from the womb of the movement. Throw us in as much jail as you want, beat us as many times as you want, we will fight you out and win, but we will not bow down. You put Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail, who disguised himself as Shravan and took the work of taking pilgrimage to the elderly. Therefore, the work has to be done to remove the intoxication of power and the ghost of power from the head of BJP. We are fighting them from the streets to the Parliament.
He said BJP has done no work, they only work to fight in the name of Hindu-Muslim and to divide the society. By stabbing Hindus in the back, by throwing their children into Agniveer, you say that you are doing good to Hindus. BJP is only destroying Hindus.
He said Narendra Modi has to become the Prime Minister for the third time in 73 years and you are telling the youth of Haryana to retire after 4 years of service. Your child who does not know how to bat will become the secretary of BCCI and the youth of Haryana will face the brunt of unemployment. Aam Aadmi Party wants to change this system. The sons of Haryana and Punjab have sacrificed their lives to protect Mother India. Agniveer scheme is a betrayal of the security of Mother India. Therefore I submit that this is a big fight. In this big fight, his son and Haryana's Lal Arvind Kajriwal and his wife took a pledge to serve the society by quitting their big jobs. Therefore, embrace your son Arvind Kejriwal and form the Aam Aadmi Party government in Haryana.
He said to be cautious of BJP. You might have heard of cycle, car and bike thieves, but BJP MLAs, MPs and party are thieves. They stole Uddhav Thackeray's bow and arrow, Sharad Panwar's watch and JJP's key. They destroy whoever comes in contact with them. They want to destroy your party, hence the work has to be done to eliminate them from Haryana.
