When contacted Toll Plaza Ladhowal Manager Deepender Kumar while talking to This correspondent here today that fixing of Toll rates are in the power and purview of the authorities of National Highways Authorities of India(NHAI) only and the venders could not be able to decide.
Meanwhile amidst noisy slogans against Union Government the agitating farmers strongly condemned the imposition of Toll Taxes on four wheeler vehicles owners who had already paid Road Taxes at the time of purchasing the vehicles.
It may be mentioned here that Ladhowal Toll Plaza in the most expensive Toll Barrier in the state.
