On the fourth day of filling nominations for the Lok Sabha elections, five candidates on Thursday filed theirnominations.
JALANDHAR: On the fourth day of filling nominations for the Lok Sabha elections, five candidates on Thursday filed theirnominations.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Varinder Kumar Sharma said that candidates including Jora Singh Sroay from Aam Aadmi Party, Harmandeep Singh Sroay from Aam Aadmi Party, Hari Mitter from Peoples Party of India (Democratic), Tara Singh from Bahujan Samaj Party (Ambedkar) and Sukhdev Singh, independent filed their nominations.
Sharma further said that notification for the election in this regard was issued on April 22 and last date for filing nominations was April 29.
He said that scrutiny of nominations would be held on April 30 and last date for withdrawal was May 2.
